Salah continues his scoring streak!

Premier League Match Day 18, Liverpool hosted newly-promoted former champions Leicester City, managed by 48-year-old former Manchester United interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy.

Star forward Mohamed Salah started the match and scored a stunning goal in the 82nd minute, sealing the victory for Liverpool.

Liverpool 3-1 Leicester City

In the 82nd minute, Salah picked up the ball on the right flank, dribbled past at least two defenders, and calmly slotted the ball into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.

The goal effectively ended any hopes of a Leicester comeback.

Salah scores with a brilliant far-post finish!

Two Milestones for Salah:

1. Salah’s goal marked his 100th Premier League goal at home (2 for Chelsea and 98 for Liverpool), making him just the 8th player in Premier League history to achieve this milestone.

2. Salah reached 100 home goals in just 142 matches, the 4th fastest in Premier League history, trailing only Alan Shearer, Thierry Henry, and Sergio Agüero.

Salah breaks more Premier League records!

Notably, while the others are strikers, Salah achieved this feat as a winger, making it even more remarkable.

Currently in the final year of his contract, the 32-year-old Salah has been in sensational form this season.

Across 25 appearances in all competitions, he has already scored 19 goals and provided 15 assists.

Liverpool’s King

If he maintains this level, he is well on track to achieve a 20+ goals and 20+ assists season for the first time in his career.

With Salah leading the charge, Liverpool sit atop the Premier League table with a 7-point lead and have a game in hand, putting them in a commanding position and leaving their rivals trailing.
