According to Saudi media reports, the Saudi Football Association's Discipline and Ethics Committee is set to announce the punishment for Cristiano Ronaldo, who received a two-match suspension for elbowing an opponent and getting sent off.

In the Saudi Super Cup semi-final match where Al Nassr defeated Al Ittihad 2-1, Ronaldo elbowed an opponent in the closing stages of the game, resulting in a red card.

The Discipline Committee has reportedly questioned Ronaldo and he provided his defense.

However, according to Article 115 of the disciplinary regulations, anyone has the right to defend themselves before the committee makes a decision, regardless of whether the misconduct was recorded by the referee.
