El Clásico, Barcelona twice took the lead away but were pegged back twice by Real Madrid. 

In stoppage time, Barcelona suffered another blow as they were once again defeated by a late goal from Bellingham.

In fact, Barcelona put on a commendable performance in this match, especially in the first half. 

They managed to score a goal, but it was controversially disallowed by the referee for not completely crossing the goal line.

VAR ruled the ball did not cross goal line

Due to the absence of goal-line technology in La Liga, VAR ultimately ruled that the ball did not completely cross the goal line, sparking strong dissatisfaction from the Barcelona camp.

After the match, Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen commented on the controversy, expressing his anger: "This is a disgrace to football. Why is there no goal-line technology? This industry has invested a lot of money, but it has not been used for the most important things. It's shameful."

Barcelona coach Xavi also fully supported Ter Stegen's viewpoint: "Yes, I completely agree, this is a disgrace. Yesterday I was asked about the referee's situation, and I said I hoped the referee wouldn't be noticed during the game and would make the right decisions. But he didn't, and it's very disappointing.

"If we want to become the best league, we must continue to progress and adopt new technology. I congratulate Real Madrid on their victory; they have only lost one game, which is an extraordinary achievement. But tonight, I feel extreme injustice."

It seems that Barcelona's chances of winning the title are slim

Following this defeat, Barcelona now trails Real Madrid by 11 points with 6 rounds remaining in the league. As long as Real Madrid secure another 7 points, they will clinch the La Liga title for this season.
