Coman confirmed season-ending injury!

In the 50th minute of Bayern Munich agaisnt Cologne, Coman fell to the ground without any physical contact and was unable to continue playing. He was subsequently substituted by Musiala.

After the game, Bayern Munich officially announced that Coman had suffered an injury to his right adductor muscle and would be sidelined for several weeks.

Coman injured again!

According to the German media outlet "Bild," Coman's injury is severe, and he is expected to require at least five to six weeks of rest, which could mean an early end to his season.

For Coman, this has been a season plagued by injuries. He sustained an injury in the match against Augsburg on January 27, diagnosed with a torn muscle fiber and a torn medial collateral ligament in his knee, and did not return until the end of March.

Coman just returned from injury not long ago and got injured again.

Following his return, Coman made brief appearances in matches against Borussia Dortmund and Arsenal. The match against Cologne marked his first start of the season.

Speaking about Coman's injury recurrence, coach Flick said, "He has just recovered from an injury, and we have managed his playing time well, but we still couldn't prevent him from getting injured again, which is very bitter for us."

Coman could be out for the season or miss the Euro 2024

Coman's season-ending injury could also mean that he will miss the European Championship in June. 

Previously, Coman had been selected multiple times for the French national team and played a key role in helping them reach the runner-up position in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
