The 38-year-old Portuguese footballer Nani has announced that he is officially ending his playing career.

Nani shared the news on his social media: “It’s time to say goodbye. I have decided to end my playing career.
It’s been an amazing journey, and I want to thank everyone who has been with me through the ups and downs of my career over the past 20 years, helping and supporting me.

Nani began his career in the youth academy of Sporting CP and made his professional debut there as a free agent.
In 2007, he joined Manchester United from Sporting CP, where he became well known during his time at the club.
Nani’s prime time were spent at Manchester United
In 2014, Nani was loaned back to Sporting CP by Manchester United, and after a year, he ended his United career and moved to Fenerbahçe.
He went on to play for several clubs, including Valencia, Lazio, Orlando City, Venezia, Melbourne Victory, Diyarbekirspor, and Amadora Stars.
