According to a report by “The Mirror,” Manchester United forward Rashford and Manchester City player Grealish both face serious risks of missing out on the European Championship.

Will both of them appear in Euro 2024?
This season, Rashford has been performing poorly and needs to rediscover his form, while Grealish has been plagued by injuries, making his position in the England squad uncertain.
In the friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium, England’s manager Southgate admitted that he is looking for other competitive players to replace Rashford.

Rashford’s performance at Manchester United has been poor.
Reportedly, Southgate will announce the provisional squad for the European Championship on May 21, leaving little time for Rashford. In the midfield positions, players like Saka, Foden, Palmer, Grealish, and Bowen are ahead of Rashford.
Earlier this season, Rashford was fined by Manchester United for attending late-night parties. He was a substitute in the match against Brazil and did not get any playing time against Belgium.

Grealish has been troubled by injuries.
Grealish has had limited playing time this season due to injury issues. However, Southgate revealed that he had discussions with Grealish before selecting the England squad in March.
Southgate stated, “Jack Grealish is definitely not ruled out. I had discussions with him before selecting the squad. However, the presence of players like Grealish and Bowen pushes others to improve.”

Southgate’s final choice will be?
“I have mentioned before during squad announcements that there is competition for places. Unfortunately, Palmer missed too much training, so we couldn’t include him in the match against Belgium. We cannot be 100% certain about what we will get, but we know the situation with players like Bowen and Madison. I would not rule out the possibility of calling up Palmer.”
