Al-Nassr looking for sign Van Dijk
In preparation for the upcoming 2024/25 season, the Saudi Arabian giants Al-Nassr are keen to strengthen their squad and have set their sights on Liverpool’s star center-back Van Dijk as their top target.
Currently earning £180,000 per week at Liverpool, Van Dijk is already one of the highest-paid defenders in the world, with his salary just below John Stones’ £250,000 per week.
Van Dijk could receive high salary if move to Saudi
In the potential move to Al-Nassr, Van Dijk could receive an unprecedented salary of no less than £300,000 per week, which would set a new record for defender salaries in football history.
The 32-year-old Dutch defender, who will turn 33 next July, might consider a transfer to the Saudi league as a viable option for the latter stages of his career.
