Borussia Dortmund trailed 1-2 in the first leg against Atletico Madrid, but they displayed their strength upon returning to their home ground, with Sabitzer emerging as the team's leader.

His first assist may not have been eye-catching, simply providing a cross from the left side of the penalty area, which Maatsen converted into a goal, giving Borussia Dortmund a 2-0 lead.

However, Atletico Madrid launched a counterattack and scored two goals to level the score at 2-2.

Another assist to Fullkrug!

Trailing 3-4 on aggregate, Sabitzer seized his moment. He delivered a cross from the left side, Füllkrug headed home to equalize the aggregate score.

Faced with a crowded defense in the penalty area, Sabitzer fired a low shot with his left foot, sending the ball into the bottom right corner of the net.

With this goal, Borussia Dortmund defeated Atletico Madrid 5-4 on aggregate, advancing to the Champions League semi-finals!
